Our story
A beginning without ceremony
Kamayani Foundation grew out of moments of need rather than a strategy document. Poverty is not always loud — often it is a missing uniform, a fever left untreated, a wedding arranged on borrowed money.
We work around dignity: education, health and support that lets a family carry itself without humiliation. What we can verify, we say. What we cannot, we do not claim.

It began with a need, not a plan
A girl who had stopped going to school. A mother with no doctor nearby. The first work was simply answering what was in front of us.

The work found a shape
Education, health, dignified marriage support and skill training — the four things families asked for most often became our four initiatives.

Camps, classrooms and training rooms in rural and semi-urban communities, run with people who live there.

More centres, more camps, more girls in school — added only as far as the support we receive can honestly carry.
