Samaan Se Vivaah, Karz Se Nahi
Debt-free, respectful mass marriages for underprivileged Hindu daughters.

Let Her Begin With Blessings, Not Burden
In thousands of Indian households, the word ‘shaadi’ doesn’t begin with celebration — it begins with anxiety. For families already struggling to survive, marrying off their daughter becomes a terrifying financial event. Parents borrow, beg, or break down in the process. Some delay the wedding indefinitely. Others go through it quietly — without rituals, without clothes, without dignity. Kamayani Foundation believes that a wedding should never feel like a punishment. Through “Samaan Se Vivaah, Karz Se Nahi,” we organise respectful, culturally rooted mass marriages that include everything: the rituals, the clothing, the meals, the safety, and the legal documentation — without asking a single rupee from the family.

A Mandap Without Loans
For many families, arranging even a simple wedding means taking loans they can never repay. Some pledge jewellery. Others cancel rituals. In our program, we take full responsibility — from venue setup to puja samagri to food arrangements. Every couple gets equal respect. No dowry. No conditions. Just a clean, well-organised, traditional ceremony that restores the family’s pride. And when the parents leave, they don’t bow their heads — they fold their hands with gratitude.

The Bride Deserves New Clothes
Weddings are sacred — and they’re also symbolic. A new saree. A clean mangalsutra. Mehendi on her hands. For a girl from a poor home, these things are often skipped. We make sure they’re not. Each bride receives new bridal wear, essential jewellery, a basic kitchen set, and hygiene products for her new home. Not as a gift — but as a necessity. She doesn’t begin married life in borrowed clothes. She begins it in confidence, respect, and readiness.

Paperwork Is Protection
In many poor households, marriages happen without legal documentation. This creates lifelong vulnerabilities for the bride — no proof of marriage, no access to benefits, no legal rights. In our mass marriage events, we ensure all couples receive proper registration under the Special Marriage Act or relevant Hindu laws. Our legal volunteers handle form filling, affidavit preparation, and ensure every woman leaves with proof — of her rights, her safety, and her place in the new home.
A full wedding for one couple — complete with clothes, meals, and documentation — costs ₹15,000. But its emotional value is priceless. When you support this campaign, you don’t just sponsor a marriage — you repair a parent’s dignity. You help a girl begin her new life without debt or shame.
