WOMEN’S SKILL TRAINING
Skill training that gives rural women income, dignity, and security.

When Her Hands Learn, Her Home Rises
In communities where women have spent generations inside kitchens, fields, or silent corners, skill training is not just about income. It’s about giving them something of their own. Kamayani Foundation runs the “Mahila Kaushal, Nayi Pehchaan” campaign to provide hands-on, practical vocational training to underprivileged women — in tailoring, embroidery, diya-making, herbal product preparation, and digital basics. But what we truly teach them is confidence. From setting up training centers to helping women sell their products, we stay with them — until skill becomes income, and income becomes independence. Because when a woman earns even ₹500 on her own, something inside her shifts — and so does the way the world looks at her.

Training That Matches Her Life
We don’t run fancy courses no one can use. We teach skills that fit the realities of rural and urban poor women — tailoring, incense stick rolling, seasonal crafts, stitching, and more. Our timings are flexible, locations safe, and materials provided free of cost. Many of our trainees are mothers, widows, or young women who were pulled out of school. We design our programs not for resumes — but for real life.

Trainers Who Talk Like Her, Not Above Her
Women often hesitate in traditional skill centers because of formal instructors, unfamiliar language, or fear of judgment. Our trainers are local — many of them are former Kamayani beneficiaries themselves. They teach in Hindi or regional dialects, with patience and respect. We create spaces where women laugh, learn, and ask questions freely. Because skill can’t grow in fear — it grows in comfort.

A Support System That Stays
Even after training ends, we don’t disappear. We check in with every woman, help with stitching machines (if needed), and connect them with micro-loan groups or self-help collectives. We also offer booster workshops to keep them updated and encouraged. Many of our trainees return — not as students, but as mentors. This is not just a course. It’s a quiet revolution — one sewing machine, one confident woman at a time.
For just ₹2,000, you can sponsor one woman’s full training course — including tools, materials, and sessions. With ₹8,000, you can fund a group and help them begin their first collective order. Every donation doesn’t just support a woman — it rewires a household.
