Who We Are
Kamayani Foundation is a registered non-profit organisation based in Uttar Pradesh, dedicated to the quiet yet urgent work of reaching women and girls who are left out — of education, of rituals, of healthcare, of conversations. Our mission is deeply rooted in ground realities, especially among neglected Hindu communities, where social customs and poverty often collide to keep women silenced. We provide free education to young girls, conduct respectful mass marriages for underprivileged families, run healthcare drives in underserved areas, and support widows, senior citizens, and differently-abled individuals with food, care, and cultural inclusion. We don’t operate from assumptions. We work based on lived need — and every intervention is designed to restore what someone should have never lost: their place in the world.

Our Story
Kamayani Foundation began with a simple observation: that many social problems in India don’t exist because of lack of awareness — they exist because of absence. Absence of presence. Absence of listening. Absence of trust. In a small village wedding, where the bride had no new clothes and the father no way to afford rituals, the idea of Kamayani was born. Since then, our journey has remained simple: be there where others aren’t. From dusty village paths to overburdened city slums, our team has shown up quietly — with school books, with meals, with doctors, with warmth. This isn’t just an organisation. It’s a presence built over time — one that grows not through PR, but through prayers, word of mouth, and moments that stay.

“We began with one simple belief — that every girl deserves more than just survival. She deserves school without fear, health without debt, dignity without conditions, and a future she can shape. Kamayani Foundation is not built on grand speeches or flashy campaigns. It is built on quiet promises — to walk with her through every no, every silence, until she feels seen, supported, and strong enough to walk ahead on her own.
We listen before we speak. We show up even when it’s inconvenient. We believe change begins not in policies, but in presence.
What Makes Kamayani Different
Not just what we do — but how we do it
- We Begin With Listening Before we act, we listen — to elders, ground workers, and local needs. Our work is shaped in fields, not offices.
- We Honour Traditions Whether it’s a wedding or a health camp, we respect customs. The aim is dignity not modernity for its own sake.
- We Focus on Continuity Our support isn’t one-time. Whether it’s a girl’s school fees or ration for widows, we walk beside them year.
- We Stay Rooted We never race to become big. We stay close to the communities we serve — because that’s how trust is built and kept.

Where Every Step Means Something
Your Journey to Balance Begins Here

A Classroom in a Cow Shed
A Classroom in a Cow Shed
In a village where no school existed, we converted an unused cowshed into a learning space for 22 girls. No benches, just mats. No fan, just focus.

A Mandap Without Shame
A Mandap Without Shame
Under a neem tree, 11 underprivileged couples were married in a collective ceremony — complete with rituals, food, and legal documentation. No loans. No dowry.

A Winter Kit That Brought
A Winter Kit That Brought
Elderly widows in remote corners of UP received blankets, ghee, and sweets for Diwali. One woman folded the shawl and said, “Pehli baar kisi ne mujhe yaad kiya.”
